  জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরাও আমাদের সম্পদ, তারা ফেলনা বা অযোগ্য নয় আমার এই লেখাটি শুধুমাত্র জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্নাতক পর্যায়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্দেশ্য করে লেখা। আমি এখানে যা লিখছি, তার সবকিছুই আমাদের দেশের পাব্লিক ও প্রাইভেট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের জানা। কিন্তু, আমার মতে, জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা আমাদের সমাজে সবচেয়ে বেশি অবহেলিত, তারা পায় না কোনো ক্যারিয়ার নিয়ে ভালো দিকনির্দেশনা, না পায় ভালো কোনো ফ্যাসিলিটি। যদিও তাদের প্রায় সবাই প্রথম বর্ষের শুরু থেকেই বিসিএস-এর প্রিপারেশন নেওয়া শুরু করে, তবে আমার এই লেখাটি তাদের বিসিএস প্রিপারেশন নিয়ে না। আমি লিখছি যাতে তাদের কারো মধ্যে কখনো যদি ভবিষ্যতে গবেষক হয়ে নিজেকে দেখার স্বপ্ন বা ইচ্ছা থেকে থাকে, কিন্তু শুধুমাত্র জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পড়ার কারণে সেই স্বপ্ন অধরাই থেকে যাচ্ছে, তাহলে সেক্ষেত্রে এই লেখাটি তাদের আন্ডারগ্রাজুয়েট প্রথম বর্ষ থেকে কিছুটা আইডিয়া পেতে সাহায্য করবে। একজন জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থী হয়তো দেশের কোনো পাব্লিক বা প্রাইভেট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পড়ার সুযোগ পায়নি। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অ্যাডমিশন টেস্টে কোনো ...

Importance of Numerical Analysis Here I am going to write about something I love, and that is ‘Numerical Analysis’. It is a branch of applied mathematics that uses various methods (algorithms) to find approximate solutions of complex mathematical problems. In modern science and engineering- there are many problems where the equations are so complex that analytical or exact solutions are not possible. Truly speaking, such real-world problems can rarely be expressed in completely perfect mathematical formulas. When such situation occurs, or when an analytical solution is very difficult to obtain, numerical analysis is then the only hope. Numerical methods fill that specific gap and provide solutions with a desired accuracy. Post related to project or thesis (applicable for the juniors of Khulna University Mathematics Discipline ) --- নিচের লেখাটি খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গণিত ডিসিপ্লিনের অনার্স/মাস্টার্স এর জুনিয়রদের (যারা Mathematical Modelling এ প্রজেক্ট/থিসিস করতে চায় তাদের) উদ্দেশ্য করে লেখা। বিশেষ করে অনার্স-এর জুনিয়রদের জন্যই লেখা (যারা 4-1 term এর স্টুডেন্ট)। আমাদের গণিত পরিবার থেকে অনেক সিনিয়র অলরেডি ভালো পজিশনে আছেন, তারা আমার থেকে আরো ভালো আইডিয়া দিতে পারবেন। তবে, আমি আমার ক্ষুদ্র জ্ঞানে যতটুকু আপাতত বুঝেছি, তাই মিনিমাম ভাবে নিচে শেয়ার করছি। আমার এই লেখাটির কারণ হলো: অনেক জুনিয়র অনার্স-এর (modelling related) প্রজেক্ট শুরু করতে গিয়ে প্রথম দিকে হিমশিম খায়/ভয় পায়/সঠিক গাইডলাইন পায় না। অনেক জুনিয়রই আমার সাথে মাঝেমধ্যে এসব নিয়ে কন্টাক্ট করে, কিন্তু আমিও সবসময় ব্যস্ততার ভিড়ে সেভাবে ফ্রি থাকি না অথবা, ফ্রি থাকলেও সবাইকে নিচের কথা গুলোই বলি। তাই ভাবলাম, সবাইকে আলাদা ভাবে না বলে এইবার তাড়াহুড়ো করে অগোছালো শব্দে শর্টকাটে আনন্দ নিয়ে কিছু লিখে ফেলি। তাই লিখছি: 1. যারা Mathematical Modelling এ কাজ করতে আগ্রহী,...
